like angel cutout popcorn strings,

dangling from a winter pine

or snowbound evergreen ...

Come to life in tinsel light and   

dance upon a Yule Tide Flame,

senses nestled Christmas bright  

against The Fire … in Faith.

I wonder where it leads today,

this quest for clues to link in Time,

and bring me to another rhyme

in heart and hearth, back home …

I yearn again for lofts and decks,

covered with a virgin snow,

enticing me to live again

And take a chance ... on Love.
